Degulish

Degulish is a veteran DarkStar doyen who serves as the organization's vice leader and commands major operations during the Mutation Disaster. Stern, prestigious, and confident in his Calamity Grade strength, he directs attacks on Planet Golden Gate and Planet Aquamarine before Godora captures him. The corpus last shows him alive but restrained in Rainbow Prison and does not establish whether he is later released, dies, or remains incarcerated.

Biography

Mutation Disaster and the Secret War

Degulish assumes field command after DarkStar's conflict with Han Xiao intensifies. He approves continued surveillance, orders the assault on Planet Golden Gate, and withdraws when mercenary reinforcements turn the intended blitz into a costly battle. He then commands a fleet toward Planet Aquamarine and deploys with Ember and Terry to trap Black Star. His confidence proves misplaced: even their combined Calamity Grade attacks cannot quickly kill Han, and the wider DarkStar offensive fails. Godora later ambushes the retreating motherships, captures Degulish, and sends him to Rainbow Prison. When Han sees him there much later, he is alive, heavily restrained, and emotionally numb; this is the last direct update on his condition. (Chapters 542, 558, 565–584, and 711)

Appearance and personality
