Bader Ohoside is the president of the Federation of Light during the opening of the Flickering World and the rise of the Beyond Grade A Association. He approaches galactic politics as a long contest among institutions, seeking to limit rival civilizations and independent Supers without committing the Federation to a confrontation it cannot control.

The Evolution Cube and Crimson Dynasty

Bader welcomes the Crimson Dynasty's costly development of the Flickering World because he expects the project to absorb its resources and eventually force it to open the new Star Field. He authorizes indirect pressure rather than an open breach of the civilizations' agreement and values Manison as a Federation ally particularly suited to deniable remote operations. After the Planet Lighthouse attack fails, Bader recognizes that Han Xiao, rather than the defending fleet alone, produced the decisive reversal. He then has the amber-sealed Ten Thousand Deity Scepter sent for study, unwilling to abandon a strategic weapon merely because its seal resists ordinary analysis. Bader responds to the growing independence of Beyond Grade As with both pressure and restraint.
