The Horn of the First Herald is the second iconic Unique artifact of the Knight of the Tide. Randidly forges it so Charlotte Wick can draw upon the will, desires, and collective instincts of the Alpha Cosmos while he is absent. (Chapter 2313)
History
The Knight's second relic
The ancient-looking horn follows the Gauntlet of the Tide through the storm around Randidly. Charlotte takes it in her right hand as she accepts the paired equipment and title of Knight of the Tide. It bonds to her and grants two Mythic Skills designed for combat leadership and timely intervention. (Chapter 2313)
Abilities and properties
- It resembles an ancient horn carved from aged wood, with golden veins running along its length. (Chapter 2313)
- Crest of the Cosmos's Wave channels part of the Willpower and desires of those standing behind the Knight into her strikes. (Chapter 2313)
- The Crest gains a chance to conjure a phantasm of a previous Knight of the Tide when Charlotte's wishes align with theirs. (Chapter 2313)
- Depth of the Universe's Undertow senses the Alpha Cosmos's collective thoughts and desires, giving the Knight an inkling of where and when she is needed. (Chapter 2313)
- In dramatic situations, the Undertow sharply increases speed and reactions so the Knight can act at the most valuable opportunity. (Chapter 2313)
