Xia

Xia is one of three distinct women who jointly present the public identity “Xiang Le”; the disguise does not make Xia, Ann, and Le a single person.

Biography

Behind the Xiang Le presentation

Xia studies the clockwork throne Donnyton sent for her while she, Ann, and Le maintain the claim that “Xiang Le” is one woman. Against Han Yazhu’s protective objections, she travels south, observes Randidly’s image combat, and presses to understand power she cannot yet perceive clearly. She later visits Kharon with the other two women, methodically recording its details. Curiosity and political attention therefore drive her beyond the safety her guard would prefer. Appearance and personality

On the journey to Kharon, Xia wears her hair in a tight bun and walks with methodical steps. She is observant, impatient with excessive protection, and willing to admit when a display exceeds her understanding. The three-person disguise deliberately obscures individual identity, so traits belonging to Ann or Le should not be assigned to Xia. (Chapters 938, 943, 1313)

Abilities and progression

Xia states that both she and Han Yazhu have enough mobility to evade danger, indicating confidence in movement and survival. She studies image combat closely but initially cannot perceive all of Randidly’s control. Her clockwork throne is associated with her status, not proof of a personal crafting power. No named Skill, image, or exact advancement stage is confirmed. (Chapters 914, 943, 958)

Relationships

• Ann and Le are Xia’s distinct partners in the shared “Xiang Le” presentation; their coordination must not be read as literal identity fusion. (Chapters 914, 1316)
• Han Yazhu guards Xia, opposes exposing her to danger, and accompanies her observations. (Chapters 927, 958, 1313)
• Randidly’s displays become an object of Xia’s close study, though their relationship is primarily observational and political. (Chapters 938, 943)
