Velio Dunn enters the institutional struggle around Military High Command with an image that can briefly make him resemble a frost dragon. He joins Edraine in investigating old Nexus secrets, including the imprisoned Patrons and the structures protected beneath official history. Much later a Samsara reconstruction uses Velio’s sword and invasive image against Randidly, preserving the dangerous mechanics of his technique without proving that every reconstructed action occurred identically in ordinary history. Appearance and personality

Velio usually appears humanoid, but a yawn can momentarily reveal the impression of a frost dragon throwing its breath skyward.
