Biography

A warlike Patron becomes a patient witness

The Patron of Blades is introduced among Elhume’s Patrons through a reputation for war. Randidly later finds the Patron inside the Aether constructs created for the Pantheon, working rapidly with the Ancient Weaver to track the dangerous changes overtaking Drake. In the final cabin period, the Patron remains beside Beatrice while others withdraw, listening as she confronts resentment, imprisonment, and betrayal. His even carving of the Patron of Feathers turns a figure defined by blades toward careful remembrance rather than open combat. (Chapters 1637, 1845, and 2228)

Appearance and personality

The Patron’s stable bodily features are not repeatedly described. A silent, controlled posture and the precise movement of a finger shaving long curls from wood give him a deliberate craftsman’s stillness beneath the warlike title. (Chapter 2228)

Abilities and progression

The Patron is associated with blades and high-level Patron combat, while the Pantheon construct lets him analyze rapid internal changes alongside the Ancient Weaver. He can cut wood with a finger in perfectly even strokes. The text does not fully separate the historical Patron’s complete powers from the later constructed version’s analytic role.
