Glendel

Glendel changes from a frightened survivor into Donnyton’s Sovereign of Ghosts, commanding spectral forces powerful enough to imitate Raid Bosses. (Chapters 52, 127, and 1444)

Biography

Fear gives way to a ghost sovereign

Glendel arrives with Regina and Alana’s group as a timid man who regrets rash action, but Donnyton’s crises force him into responsibility. Gaining the Sovereign of Ghosts Class transforms his presence and gives the settlement a growing spectral army. He later summons formidable dead creatures for reconnaissance and war, even while years of scouting leave him burned out. His tournament loss to Tykes does not erase that growth; it demonstrates the limits of a vast ghost legion against concentrated physical force. (Chapters 52, 62, 92, 127, 381, 948, 1444, 1686, and 1827)

Appearance and personality

Early Glendel is visibly fearful; later he is gaunt and carries a mysterious, profound air associated with his Class. No stable coloration or costume recurs. His caution remains, but experience turns it from paralysis into the wary judgment of a scout and commander. (Chapters 52, 381, and 926)

Abilities and progression

Sovereign of Ghosts allows Glendel to summon and direct dead or spectral beings, including a two-headed bear, Raid Boss Ghosts, the Four-Armed Beast King, and the Thousand Foot Shade Viper. Wraith’s Vengeance supplies a more focused offensive expression. His forces provide breadth and numbers, but Tykes proves that a strong opponent can break through the legion. (Chapters 127, 948, 1444, 1488, 1686, and 1827)

Relationships

Regina and Alana share his earliest survival journey, Randidly witnesses his transformation, and Tykes becomes the opponent who exposes the limits of his army. (Chapters 52, 62, 381, and 1827)
