Biography
A brief alliance ending in sacrifice
Dian interrupts Randidly and Tartet's formal introductions with disarming directness, joining the volatile world of Tellus without the elaborate pride displayed by many Styles. Her path becomes entangled with Lucretia's struggle for survival. After Dian dies, Lucretia carries her soul and the head of a Yeti into Randidly's Soulskill, treating both as desperately needed resources. The moment gives Dian's short life a grim consequence beyond her own choices. (Chapters 135, 291)
Appearance and personality
Dian's stable physical traits are not described in detail. Her first words suggest bluntness and an impatience with ceremonial posturing.
