Rocketfellow Rothsfather

Rocketfellow Rothsfather is an immensely wealthy devil operative whose family resources support repeated schemes around the Midnight Inn. Initially introduced under a false age and cultivation profile while investigating the Inn, he later survives captivity and reemerges with Bouldadin to move contraband through unsuspecting intermediaries.

Biography

Infiltrating the Inn's orbit

Rocketfellow enters alongside Karen while investigating the Midnight Inn and the people connected to it. His displayed profile—forty-four years old and early Golden Core—is explicitly false, while even his trench coat is worth an extraordinary sum. Learning Lex's identity pleases him because it turns scattered information into leverage, and his family's deep wealth lets him treat infiltration as a patient investment rather than a desperate gamble. Captivity and manipulated memory

His resources do not prevent enemies from drugging, chaining, and kidnapping him. In captivity he invokes a father he claims is a Dao Lord, but the scene also reveals tampering with his memories, making both his self-understanding and the captors' interrogation unreliable. Contraband operation with Bouldadin

Rocketfellow later resurfaces beside Bouldadin under the variant name Rockefeller Rothsfather. The pair route prohibited or polluting materials toward the Inn through agents who do not understand what they carry, using compartmentalization to protect the organizers. This latest scheme confirms that captivity did not reform or remove him; he remains an active antagonist whose preferred weapons are wealth, deniability, and other people's access.
