Mama Pari

Mama Pari is an original Demi-Dao Lord of the Origin realm and the strongest known Projection there. Her wish for a large family led her to create the Holy Kingdom, a spiritual environment where projections can live without conventional projectors; perfecting it accidentally brought her into contact with the Dao. Biography

Meeting Lex in the Holy Kingdom

Mama Pari notices Lex through her temple statue and invites him to tea because her true body would destroy lesser projections if it entered the Kingdom. Lonely among serious Dao beings, she offers to accelerate Lex toward the Dao level, then accepts his refusal when he will not abandon the Inn or become bound to the Origin realm. Their conversation shifts from recruitment to candid companionship rather than becoming a coercive bargain. (Chapters 1411–1413)

She warns Lex that his enormous positive karma attracts cultivators who might exploit it, explains safer ways to digest it, and agrees that projection children may visit the Inn. Her advice does not solve every problem—she cannot offer a reliable way to hide karma from the beings who matter—but the exchange gives Lex a new guest environment and gives her children a route beyond the Kingdom. Appearance and personality

Mama Pari's statue resembles a sturdy middle-aged woman, more like a practical mother capable of wrestling monsters than an ethereal beauty. She is teasing, sociable, maternal, and intensely lonely after advancement separates her from ordinary life. Although she can read thoughts throughout the Kingdom, she gives Lex tea that helps shield his mental privacy and does not punish him for rejecting her offer. (Chapters 1411–1415)

Abilities and cultivation

Mama Pari is a Demi-Dao Lord whose actual body generates the Holy Kingdom's spiritual field. Within that field she can perceive thoughts and support millions of projections in an environment primarily accessible through spirit sense. A specially contained statue lets her interact without leaking lethal aura. Her Dao-level power cannot free her from the Origin realm before maturation, cannot safely bring her body among her children, and does not grant complete mastery over karma. (Chapters 1410–1415)

Relationships

• Projection children: Mama Pari creates the Holy Kingdom so her numerous children can live and later permits some to explore through the Inn. (Chapters 1411–1415)
• Lex Williams: She offers Lex advancement, warns him about karma, and accepts a developing friendship after he declines her conditions. (Chapters 1412–1415)
• Sekhmet: Mama Pari remembers Sekhmet from before their Dao advancement and follows Lex partly because he disrupted Sekhmet's scheme. (Chapters 1412–1413)
