Karen

Karen is a succubus infiltrator whose theatrical complaints and sexual manipulation conceal systematic testing of the Midnight Inn's defenses. Her failure to compromise an employee becomes data for Rocketfellow's network, after which she helps recruit hostile factions and accelerate plans against the Inn.

Biography

Testing the Inn through harassment

Karen arrives screaming for a manager, then changes clothes and manner as soon as Moore brings her into private conversation. She uses suggestive presentation, guilt, and an undisclosed ability to pressure him into providing a mount, treating the employee's discomfort as a security experiment. Chad interrupts and warns that only the absence of a formal complaint prevents a ban; Karen withdraws and reports that the Inn detected her power immediately. (Chapters 592–593)

Recruiting hostile interests

Karen later relaxes at the Inn while reading sensational comics, but Rocketfellow's summons reconnects her to the larger conspiracy. She brings priests, devils, and other hostile beings into a confidentiality pact offering access to Inn workers, and she relays orders when the operation's timeline moves forward.
