Andromeda
Andromeda is a primordial daughter of Leo and Cassie, the sister of Medea, and an exuberantly protective elder sister to Kai LuForia. Her family affection becomes strategically important when she tries to stop Aion from reaching Kai.
Biography
Discovering and defending her youngest brother
Andromeda first mistakes Kai for an ally of Aion and attacks before learning that he is her twenty-one-year-old brother. Her hostility immediately becomes possessive affection: she tries to carry him back to Divinity City, challenges Leo for leaving him to confront Aion, and thereafter can sense Kai's location through their shared primordial family connection. During Kai's later visit, she drags him through the city's rules and social customs, attempts to mediate after he violates them, and enthusiastically claims the role of aunt when meeting his children. (Chapters 540, 551–558)
When Aion approaches Kai's family, Andromeda and Medea intercept him rather than leave the danger to their younger brother. Andromeda decapitates Aion and later combines her golden wires with universal destruction laws, but his superior deception swaps her into the path of Medea's killing spear. Leo removes both sisters before their wounds become fatal. Her latest status is therefore alive after rescue, with the failed interception demonstrating both the seriousness of her protective commitment and the limits of her power against Aion's true threat. (Chapters 572–573)
Appearance and personality
The supplied chapters call Andromeda beautiful but do not establish her hair color, eye color, height, clothing, or other stable physical details. In battle she is visually marked by two golden wires wound around her hands. She is exuberant, blunt, teasing, impulsively violent, and intensely affectionate toward family. Her nervousness around Leo coexists with a willingness to question his treatment of Kai, while her treatment of Kai swings quickly between doting contact, mockery, and protective force. (Chapters 540, 551–558, 572)
Powers and abilities
Andromeda is a primordial with a Progenitor Spark, extraordinary strength, cosmic flight, enhanced senses, and command of universal laws. Her two golden wires can divide into hundreds of strands, bind or redirect energy, cut through Aion's body, and reshape into a large arrow. She can also punch through space and release pure destruction. Aion nevertheless evades and manipulates her attacks, proving that her devastating offense does not protect her from superior speed, substitution, or a redirected allied weapon. (Chapters 540, 551, 572–573)
Relationships
- Kai LuForia: Andromeda rapidly becomes a doting sister and aunt, resents that Kai bears the Aion conflict, and risks death trying to spare him from it. (Chapters 540, 551–558, 572)
