Princess Dahria

Princess Dahria is Matilda's closest companion and the imprisoned heir whose rescue drives one of Matilda's longest personal missions. After liberation, Dahria takes power as empress and later testifies for Gustav before the interplanetary court.

Biography

Exile, friendship, and captivity

Dahria survives the slaughter of her family by being hidden on Earth, where she forms a deep bond with Matilda. She is later taken back to her world and imprisoned for more than a decade by Dhios, while outside powers ignore her situation. Matilda's determination to recover her shapes years of training and choices, turning Dahria's absence into a continuing personal obligation rather than a forgotten childhood connection. Breaking Dhios's control

When Matilda's party reaches Dahria, the captive ruler is bound by energy-draining slave shackles and a control mark that forces her to attack the rescuers. She levitates and coerces targets under that influence until the separating mechanism removes the imposed control. Once free, Dahria receives Dhios from Gustav Oslov for judgment and assumes the title of empress, converting a rescue mission into restoration of legitimate rule. (Chapters 1345–1357)

Testimony and a reclaimed life

Dahria later travels to Earth with Matilda during Gustav's trial. She recounts her family's murder, forced return, captivity, and the alliance's refusal to help, then credits Gustav with restoring peace. After testifying, she spends time with Matilda and the group before returning to her responsibilities, confirming that she remains both a ruling survivor and an active personal ally. Appearance and personality

Dahria has purple skin, striking features, and black markings on her forehead, including the control mark visible during her captivity. Years of imprisonment do not erase her attachment to Matilda or her capacity to rule once freed. She is grateful without being passive: after liberation she accepts responsibility for Dhios and publicly recounts institutional failure when her testimony can protect Gustav. Bloodlines and abilities

While controlled, Dahria demonstrates telekinetic levitation and mental coercion, making Old Riole and others move against their will. The corpus does not clearly separate her innate bloodline from effects imposed or amplified by Dhios's slave mark, so these feats cannot safely define an unrestricted personal power set.
