Phinx
Phinx is an Earth representative in the IYSOP competition whose mimicry lets him reproduce qualifying targets and abilities. He combines that versatility with a cautious, team-minded approach to conflict.
Biography
Selection and the Yonda dispute
Phinx demonstrates his value before the tournament by glowing white, passing through Endric Oslov's telekinetic barrier, and striking him while using mimicry. Although he participates in Yonda's attempted ambush, he is more pragmatic than its instigator and later advises the group not to provoke the main team unnecessarily. IYSOP analysis records him at Mid Echo rank with S potential, securing his place among Earth's principal representatives. (Chapters 1081–1090)
Versatility in the IYSOP campaign
In the Varlin Chase, Phinx copies Angy, giving Earth two versions of its fastest runner, while later missions put his adaptability to practical use. He joins the engine-room infiltration and helps defeat the crew while the team removes the stone sustaining the Sticky Void threat. He continues through team and individual competition and wins a later challenge, remaining an active Earth representative at his last confirmed appearance. (Chapters 1144, 1152, 1166–1171, and 1257)
Appearance and personality
Phinx has silver hair that floats around him during his early demonstration, and his body can change to resemble a copied person. He is analytical and restrained, questioning unusual bloodline claims and discouraging needless hostility. That caution is not timidity: he joins dangerous infiltrations and performs under tournament pressure once the team commits to a course. (Chapters 1081–1090, 1152, and 1170–1171)
Bloodlines and abilities
Phinx's mimicry can reproduce another person's appearance and at least some qualifying abilities, as shown when he becomes a second Angy. The power is conditional: he explicitly lacks the required target or prerequisite for one desired speed imitation, so he cannot copy anything at will. His white-glowing demonstration also lets him bypass Endric's telekinetic obstruction, though the corpus does not define every copied component separately. (Chapters 1081–1082, 1144, and 1171)
