Kotario

Kotario is a Vertigon operative whose early collapse helps signal the hidden enemy threatening Stark and the household.

Biography

Warning from the mountain

Kotario is found staggering on a mountaintop after an unseen encounter. Unable to explain before collapsing, he points in the direction of the danger, giving arriving forces the only immediate lead. His condition demonstrates that the enemy can neutralize trained household personnel without remaining visible at the scene. (Chapters 888–892)

Returning to the protection effort

Kotario later appears among the personnel mobilized around Stark Vertigon and the cult threat. As Gustav Oslov, Von Tridistle, and the household respond, Kotario contributes to the search and survives the wider confrontation, moving from an incapacitated warning victim back into the protective force. (Chapters 905–917)

Appearance and personality

The corpus does not isolate a detailed physical portrait of Kotario. He is dutiful and persistent: even while losing consciousness, he uses his final movement to direct allies toward the danger rather than merely seeking help for himself. (Chapter 888)

Bloodlines and abilities

Kotario is a capable household combatant, but the supplied evidence does not establish a named bloodline, formal rank, or signature mechanic. His unexplained incapacitation cannot safely define the ability used by either him or his attacker. (Chapters 888–917)
