Captain Irand leads the Indulus Prime team while secretly investigating which IYSOP competitor is the Outworldly. He is distinct from Vikrush Insa, who later abducts Falco.

Biography

Tournament captain and hidden observer

Irand demonstrates his force during a river-breaking event, using a staff to project an indomitable impact when ordinary strikes fail. Behind the competition, however, his real assignment is identification: he ranks Gustav Oslov as the strongest Outworldly candidate because of Gustav's many abilities and waits for a crisis that will force him to reveal the missing proof. (Chapters 1169–1178 and 1260–1275)

Reporting to Prime Vessel Ji

Irand gathers his team in their dark accommodation space and conducts a chanted communication with Prime Vessel Ji, reporting preparations to place the suspected Outworldly in the final challenge. Miss Aimee later confronts him with the name Vikrush Insa, startling Irand and exposing knowledge beyond the public tournament. The subsequent kidnapper is Vikrush, not Irand; an ambiguous explanatory sentence should not merge two characters who are separately addressed and act in different scenes. (Chapters 1300–1309 and 1320)

Appearance and personality

Irand wears dark clothing like other Indulus Prime representatives and is associated with deep, shadowed eyes and a staff. He is patient, suspicious, and mission-focused, preferring probabilistic observation over a premature strike. His reverence toward Prime Vessel Ji also reveals a strong hierarchy behind the team's public sporting role. (Chapters 1169 and 1265–1300)

Bloodlines and abilities

Irand can channel immense force through his staff, enough to contest the unusually resistant tournament river. He also leads a group chant that opens remote communication through dark mist. The corpus does not establish whether the team's extradimensional accommodation belongs personally to Irand or is shared Indulus technology, so its full spatial properties are not assigned to his bloodline.
