Instructor Kora is the MBO camp's main combat instructor and Angy's personal trainer. He pushes cadets toward realistic force while expecting them to retain judgment over when killing is necessary.

Biography

Teaching Angy to stop holding back

Kora spars with Angy and immediately identifies her reluctance to use lethal force. When she explains that she wants enough strength to choose restraint without endangering innocents, he accepts the principle and changes his training approach, saying she reminds him of another student. His mentorship therefore targets controlled decisiveness rather than simple aggression. (Chapters 381 and 446)

Trusting cadets with real consequences

During Gustav's brutal match with Chad, Kora stops other instructors from intervening because he trusts Gustav Oslov to know the necessary force and wants training to reflect a battlefield without rescuers. He later helps evaluate speed and practical trials, while the final camp meeting places him among instructors protecting the facility as Earth's possible reserve defense. Appearance and personality

Kora is a muscular man around two meters tall with green-and-black hair and a thirteen-inch ponytail. He is blunt, physically imposing, and unsentimental about pain, yet listens carefully when Angy articulates her ethics. His teaching relies on pressure and trust rather than constant intervention.
