Felgro

Felgro is an MBO officer whose distrust of Gustav's youth initially makes him challenge the squad's command arrangement. Field experience turns that skepticism into compliance.

Biography

Doubting the new squad leader

Felgro objects when Gustav Oslov, apparently the youngest and lowest-ranked person present, is named mission leader. Colonel Oxlar reveals that Gustav is actually a senior Argent officer, leaving the junior Argent Felgro humiliated. A later demonstration reinforces the lesson when Gustav's punch overwhelms Felgro's metallic defense, proving that nominal appearance and raw rank do not capture the leader's combat strength. (Chapters 586–592)

Warehouse assault

Felgro follows Gustav's plan during the Red Jackets operation, clearing enemies and placing compact devices around basement walls and boxes. After an electrical shot knocks him down, he changes his cloak's composition to reduce damage, feigns helplessness, and kills the approaching attackers with daggers before continuing evacuation. His performance ends the arc as a useful squad member rather than the insubordinate skeptic introduced at briefing. (Chapters 607–629)

Appearance and personality

Felgro is a Hispanic-looking man with yellow hair. He is protective of his comrades but lets assumptions about age, clothing, and visible rank become disrespect toward Gustav. Once corrected, he becomes intimidated and cautious; in combat, however, he remains adaptive and willing to use deception under fire. (Chapters 588–592 and 607)

Bloodlines and abilities

Felgro's bloodline decomposes and recomposes physical matter. He changes clothing into metal for defense and alters his cloak's composition to absorb an electrical hit. The defense depends on choosing sufficient toughness beforehand: underestimating Gustav leaves the metallic state unable to disperse the punch. Felgro supplements the bloodline with daggers and field demolition work. (Chapters 591–592 and 607)
