Oludari

Oludari is a Vritra Sovereign who abandons Alacrya and becomes a dangerous source of knowledge and leverage contested by dragons, Wraiths, and Arthur's coalition.

Biography

Recorded appearances

Oludari breaks from Agrona's order and seeks survival beyond Alacrya, carrying knowledge that makes him valuable even to people who distrust both his motives and sanity. Wraiths pursue him, dragons want him transferred to Kezess Indrath, and Arthur Leywin instead treats custody as political leverage. Arthur persuades Charon to guard Oludari while falsely presenting him as dead, limiting further attacks and denying Kezess immediate control. Later healers consult him about Agrona's empty body, but he provides no decisive answer. His arc therefore narrows from sovereign authority to clanless dependence, with information—not demonstrated battlefield victory—becoming his remaining power. (Chapters 449, 463–464, and 504)

Appearance and personality

The direct scenes present Oludari as a frightened, volatile Vritra whose former sovereign confidence gives way to insult, bargaining, and urgent self-preservation. Detailed stable physical features are sparse. (Chapters 449 and 463–464)

Relationships

  • Arthur Leywin: Captor and interrogator who keeps Oludari from both Wraiths and immediate transfer to Kezess. (Chapters 463–464)
  • Charon: Dragon commander who accepts personal responsibility for concealing and guarding him. (Chapter 464)

Mana, aether, and abilities

Oludari is a Vritra Sovereign with asuran mana and specialist knowledge, but the supplied direct scenes do not establish a complete signature combat repertoire or personal aether art. His later utility is principally informational. (Chapters 449, 463–464, and 504)
