Charon is the scarred Indrath dragon who commands Kezess Indrath's forces in Dicathen and negotiates uneasily with Arthur's coalition.

Biography

Recorded appearances

Charon occupies the Glayders' former council chamber as commander of the dragon deployment, making protection of Dicathen visibly subordinate to Indrath authority. A vision of a Wraith attack shows the central limit of that arrangement: Charon transforms to survive and counterattack, but his escape and breath kill Dicathians caught beneath the battle, placing military self-preservation above the people he was sent to guard. In later direct conflict he pursues Wraiths, returns to the captured Sovereign Oludari, and accepts Arthur's proposal to conceal the prisoner's survival while keeping custody. By the final chapter he appears as a guest at Sapin's new High Council, suggesting movement from occupying commander toward constrained political participation without resolving whether Dicathians can fully trust him.
