Jarnas Auddyr

Biography

Recorded appearances

Jarnas Auddyr commands the second division assigned to Arthur's first coastal mission. When his soldiers are attacked before the full camp can respond, his composure breaks and he tries to rush to them alone; Arthur physically restrains him and insists that a dead commander would only worsen their position. Auddyr then joins Captain Glory's organized advance, reports Arthur's condition after the retainer battle, and ensures that medics are waiting when the wounded general returns. (Chapters 150, 154, and 162)

Appearance and personality

Auddyr is presented as a surly, proud, normally composed officer in light armor. His panic when his division is endangered reveals genuine concern for his soldiers, though also a tendency toward reckless action under emotional pressure. (Chapter 154)

Relationships

He shares field command with Vanesy Glory and serves under Arthur. Their coastal deployment forces Auddyr to accept Arthur's superior authority and Vanesy's more immediately disciplined formation work. (Chapters 150 and 154)

Mana, aether, and abilities

Auddyr is a battlefield commander and combatant, but the supplied scenes do not establish an elemental affinity, named technique, or aether ability. His clearest demonstrated strengths are leadership, military coordination, and care for wounded personnel. (Chapters 154 and 162)

Items

He wears military light armor, including a metal gorget. The corpus does not identify a named or magically distinctive personal item. (Chapter 154)
