History

A cure transferred to Amanda

Ren Dover stores the fruit inside his dimensional bracelet and gives Amanda Stern the safe code needed to retrieve it. He later hands the fruit directly to Amanda, identifying it as the cure for her mother. The transfer breaches a prior restriction binding Ren and causes him severe backlash once Amanda administers it, showing that his decision carries a personal cost beyond surrendering a rare treasure. Natasha's awakening

Amanda brings the fruit to the elven court, where Maylin Xiltris verifies the proposed preparation and supervises treatment. Its use removes the condition that has kept Natasha unconscious for fifteen years and allows mother and daughter to meet as adults. Maylin credits Amanda rather than herself for securing the cure and later treats Ren's gift as a debt worthy of first choice among Issanor's treasures. (Chapters 445–448, 458)

Properties and functions

The prescribed preparation is simple: squeeze the fruit and extract its juice. In Natasha's case, that juice, administered with Maylin's elven healing, removes the long-standing curse or illness and allows consciousness to return. The text does not isolate how much of the result belongs to the fruit versus Maylin's treatment, does not establish that it heals every curse, and provides no reusable seed or residue after consumption.
