Prince Murdock is the Prince-ranked patriarch of the Clan of Envy and one of the demon leaders entrusted with a Pillar.

Murdock coordinates information among the seven clan heads and accepts his role in Jezebeth's Pillar campaign with predatory confidence. When Ren Dover breaches his domain, Murdock answers with his full demonic transformation and power gathered from mass death, yet Ren's sixth movement tears apart most of his body. A law-driven restoration gives him one last attack, but Ren breaks the restraint, batters him into helplessness, removes his core, and crushes it; the yellow law-orb left by his death is then absorbed by Ren. Appearance and personality
Murdock is a handsome demon whose voice is compared to a snake's whisper. He is watchful, politically alert and initially self-assured, but that composure collapses into open panic once Ren survives his strongest resistance and chooses to prolong the execution. (Chapters 767, 812–815)
Powers and abilities
As a Prince-ranked demon, Murdock has immense speed, strength, aura and demonic-energy control. His battle form enlarges his body, spreads his wings and covers his skin in scales. He can concentrate the surrounding death-fueled power into a direct clash, and the law attached to his Pillar restores and animates his ruined body, manifests golden runes, and restrains movement. Ren's stronger use of the laws ultimately breaks that control. (Chapters 812–815)
