Magnus is a Prince-ranked demon who serves Jezebeth directly and searches contaminated worlds for human survivors.

Biography

Royal errand and Cassaria defeat

At Jezebeth's command, Magnus surveys planets approaching complete demonic contamination and later encounters Ren Dover's group on Cassaria. He introduces himself with courtly politeness while exercising power that initially leaves the humans badly outmatched. The group turns the confrontation through psychological and tactical pressure: visions force Magnus into denial and terror, allowing Ren to close the distance, seize him by the neck, and crack his core. Ren briefly receives a violent surge of the demon's strength, though his body cannot sustain it. (Chapters 563, 588–598)

Appearance and personality

Magnus presents a controlled, dark figure with a soft, gentle smile and meticulously polite speech. That composure is rooted in hierarchy rather than fearlessness: he is visibly anxious about displeasing Jezebeth, and the visions of defeat eventually shatter his mental balance into denial and panic. (Chapters 563, 588, 597)

Powers and abilities

Magnus's Prince rank gives him demonic pressure and raw force far beyond Ren's group under normal conditions. His core contains enough power to send Ren's strength soaring temporarily after the kill. His decisive weakness is psychological: once manipulated visions destabilize him, even pressure he should normally ignore becomes terrifying and prevents an effective response. (Chapters 588–598)
