Edward Stern is Amanda Stern's father, Demon Hunter Guild master, and the arena fighter called the Blood Prince.

Biography

Captivity, rescue, and return

After disappearing from Earth, Edward survives years as a captive in Duke Azenoch's demon arena. He recognizes Ren's concealed instructions, kills SilverStar, and claims the Overlord position so their staged battle can draw Azenoch into Ren's trap. Once freed with Liam, Edward returns to Natasha and Amanda, then reasserts control over Demon Hunter at a moment when his absence has left the guild and his family politically vulnerable. Appearance and personality

Edward is a powerful mature swordsman whose blood-soaked arena bearing contrasts sharply with his domestic behavior. He is calculating and controlled in combat, but embarrassingly affectionate toward Natasha and intensely protective of Amanda. (Chapters 516–529, 536–546)

Powers and abilities

Edward's exact late formal rank is not restated, but he is among humanity's strongest physical swordsmen. The arena demonstrates overwhelming body reinforcement, sword control, endurance, and the ability to kill elite demon-sponsored opponents while preserving enough awareness to follow Ren's deception.
