Biography

The ancient technique reaches the Lightning Manor

When a Star Map adapted for warriors rises through Area 23's chain of command, the Starlight Queen receives it as the Lightning Manor's Reconnaissance General. Neither the Manager nor she can identify its author, so she tests the report against reality, concludes that the presenting warrior has not lied, and escalates the anomaly to Wester. Her inability to recover the book's faded aura places her under unusual professional pressure, but her decision brings an apparently minor Fourth-Realm technique before the Lightning Emperor without overstating what she can prove. After Wester determines that the book is ancient, the Starlight Queen accepts the ruling that its deeper origin is not hers to pursue. She personally carries the resulting order back down the hierarchy: return the original to Shang's side and introduce both the warrior Star Map and a balancing Mage version throughout Area 23. Her disciplined transmission converts a mysterious local technique into authorized institutional policy, while also demonstrating her defining relationship with superiors—curious and highly capable, but willing to stop when the Lightning Manor's command structure sets a boundary. Mage King of the Lightning Manor

Sarah is the Lightning Manor's youngest Mage King, a former student of Lucin who advanced beyond him and became one of the organization's stronger Kings. She leads Reconnaissance and gradually assumes the administrative burdens of the aging Myriad King's Research Department, motivated by duty and a professional idealism that makes her a plausible teacher for Shang. During Queen Primordium's assassination and the Lightning Emperor's retaliatory crisis, Sarah joins the senior deliberations, follows Wester's emergency authority, and confronts how helpless even Mage Kings remain before Emperors. Her later dealings with Shang turn that institutional loyalty into conflict and wartime cooperation. She refuses to excuse his disrespect or sacrifice a subordinate to his anger, while Shang rejects her conditions for teaching him; nevertheless, she commands his deployments on the southeastern front, uses portals, intelligence, and enchantments to turn his strength into territorial gains, and eventually responds to his suffering with unadorned sympathy. Over the following millennia, her wartime performance is judged exceptional. She hands Research and Reconnaissance to newer Kings, takes charge of the crucial Reinforcement Department, and approaches mastery of the Domain Spell, remaining alive and active at the latest cited state. Appearance and personality

The Starlight Queen appears as a powerful woman in Lightning Manor purple, with her hair described as blonde in the opening operation and as long silver hair in later eras. In battle readiness she exchanges those robes for rune-covered silver armor, lightning wings, and a spear. She is formal, astute, duty-oriented, and intensely respectful of rank and contribution. That same principle makes her loyal to both superiors and subordinates, impatient with Shang's contempt for protocol, and capable of genuine compassion without becoming personally close to him. Abilities and progression

As a Mage King, the Starlight Queen has a deep connection to reality that lets her test whether a report resonates with the world's truth even when details are obscured. She primarily studies Lightning and Space, teleporting herself and troops over enormous distances and later opening precise battlefield portals for Shang. She can also apply multiple enchantments that double his combat attributes and possesses enough spatial and reconnaissance expertise to coordinate attacks across an imperial front. Her operational strength is reinforced by a fivefold Spirit Sense documented from her Archmage years. (Chapters 1, 410, 707, 759, 873–878, and 928)

Her breadth has clear limits. At the ancient-book incident, her Time mastery cannot recover an aura that Wester restores, and at that stage she cannot identify the artifact's creator independently. She is described earlier as the fifth-strongest Mage King in the Lightning Manor rather than its apex, and even much later she is only close to mastering the Domain Spell. By then, however, long service across Reconnaissance, Research, war command, and Reinforcement has made her administrative and strategic ability valuable enough to receive the Manor's second-most-important department. Relationships

• Wester: Sarah treats Wester as both superior and trusted expert. She escalates problems she cannot solve, accepts his limits on what she may investigate, and later follows his authority during the leadership crisis. (Chapters 410–411, 806, and 815)
• Shang: She first handles the ancient technique connected to Shang and later becomes his wartime commander. Their relationship is effective but abrasive: she prizes respect and institutional duty, while he rejects hierarchy, yet both continue cooperating when the Lightning Manor's survival requires it. (Chapters 408–411, 861–881, and 895–940)
• Lucin: Lucin taught Sarah when she was an Archmage with a fivefold Spirit Sense. She surpassed him after several millennia, making her Mage King career one of the clearest successes of his teaching legacy. (Chapter 707)
• Myriad King and Queen Primordium: Sarah takes over the Myriad King's unwanted duties to ease his final years and is considered a likely future replacement for Queen Primordium's standing among the Manor's strongest Kings. Primordium's death pulls her directly into imperial crisis management. (Chapters 759 and 805–815)
