Battlefields and the Blade River Era

Tian Chen first contacts Luo Feng after Night Emperor's death. Both Tian Chen and Night grew within the Huge Axe Dojo and maintained a rivalry complicated by respect, so he asks how Night died and drinks with Luo Feng after learning Gold Cang was responsible. At Star Tower he then identifies signs that a sealed star is about to fall and organizes roughly one thousand human-camp emperors into a temporary alliance, giving weaker contenders a chance to approach the treasure through combined defense. His friendly reputation conceals a predatory strategy. Tian Chen has secretly soul-controlled Chi Mang Emperor and other enemy experts, leaving them inside the demon camp so staged clashes can create future opportunities.
