Elder Silram
Elder Silram is a Forest Elven scholar and leader whose knowledge guides Michael and whose decisions shape the Elves' later trade.
Biography
Battle Exchange and Interdimensional Flag War
Michael consults Silram about the Kitsun after previously discussing old languages with him. The Elder confirms their treachery, enslavement, and danger, allowing Michael to abandon peaceful assumptions, then sends Lilica tactical warnings through a communication crystal. The warning arrives after Haro's trap has already devastated Michael's army, but Silram's intelligence helps define the enemy accurately. (Chapters 352, 353, 380)
The Unknown Domain and the New Era
Decades later, Silram remains close enough to tease Lilica over her treatment of reporters and her self-description as a dragon. He and the other Elven Elders accept the High Elves' formal commercial challenge, risking their exclusive trade with the New Primal. Lilica is furious at the decision, and the corpus ends before Silram's reasoning or the contest's result is explained. (Chapters 1104–1105)
Appearance and personality
The corpus gives Silram a sonorous, wise voice and identifies him as an old Forest Elf, but supplies no reliable hair, eyes, height, or clothing. He is learned, affectionate toward Lilica, dryly humorous, and willing to make high-stakes institutional decisions. His warnings are careful, even when circumstances make them late. (Chapters 352, 714, 1104–1105)
Scholarship and leadership
Silram knows old languages, Kitsun history and behavior, Forest Elven politics, and trade strategy. He communicates actionable intelligence and participates in collective Elder decisions, but the corpus never names his Soultrait, Tier, weapon, or personal combat technique. His demonstrated authority is scholarly and political rather than a formal power progression. (Chapters 352–380, 714, 1105)
Relationships
Lilica is Silram's granddaughter and a field leader whose safety and conduct concern him. Michael Fang is his scholarly contact and later the central partner in Forest Elven trade. The other Elven Elders share responsibility for accepting the High Elves' challenge. (Chapters 352–380, 714, 1104–1105)
Items
Silram uses communication crystals to speak with Michael and warn Lilica. No named personal Artifact, weapon, or scholarly object is securely assigned to him. (Chapters 352, 380)
