Zyrax

Zyrax is Vyriana's son and a young Dragon of the Leander family. He inherits his mother's fixation on strength and treats combat not simply as competition but as a way to force both himself and his siblings beyond their current limits.

Biography

Pushing his brothers past restraint

Zyrax first appears sparring with Drakar in Umbrasol. Dissatisfied whenever Drakar pulls a blow, he defines victory as fighting until the opponent no longer asks for more and releases his Dragon Aura to provoke a full response. His pressure succeeds: Drakar becomes angry enough to stop holding back, their bodies and auras grow stronger during the exchange, and Zyrax welcomes every painful hit because his real goal is growth rather than a clean win. Even after his scales break and his body tires, he keeps demanding greater force, using his brother's advancement as the standard that will push him forward in turn. (Chapters 2306–2307)

Oraya calculates that further exchanges will only collapse the training field, but Zyrax initially dismisses rest because even improved instincts would count as progress to him. Ragnar encourages a three-way fight, and Zyrax resumes despite being identified as the weakest of the three. Frostra finally freezes the field and reminds them of the family meeting; unlike a threat of injury, that obligation and the strange secrecy surrounding Nux's announcement make him stop. The incident leaves Zyrax stronger but not more cautious. At the gathering he continues arguing with Drakar about whether their last strike was enough, later recognizes the look Nux uses when sparring with the combat-oriented children, and eventually proposes that Nux fight Azriel simply because he wants to see which is stronger. Appearance and personality

Zyrax is a boy with long, dark-red hair that reaches his shoulders and remains messy and unkempt. His sharp golden eyes shine with excitement, and he wears a red sleeveless shirt bearing a Dragon image. His fiery, aggressive presence and constant grin make him look as though he is always seeking a fight. His exact age is not stated beyond being comparable to the other young Leander children. He is exuberant, reckless, competitive, and obsessed with strength. Zyrax does not merely tolerate pain; he celebrates evidence that an opponent can push him farther. He is close to other battle-focused siblings such as Drakar and Ragnar, resists analytical limits, and is annoyed when Frostra stops a dangerous bout. Even so, he ultimately joins family responsibilities and looks to Nux as the strongest figure in his world. (Chapters 2306–2309, 2318, 2406)

Abilities and cultivation

Primordial Dragon body and Cultivation Bridge

Zyrax possesses a Primordial Dragon lineage but is only at Phase Three of the Cultivation Bridge during his first fight; the text explicitly says that he and Drakar have not yet reached Saint. “Primordial Dragon” therefore describes his nature rather than a confirmed Primordial cultivation stage in this scene. Worlds are used as resources for the children's growth, and their inherited blood gives their bodies enough force to fold even Divine-stage beings despite their unfinished cultivation. That scale is a narrative assessment of both children, not a demonstrated kill by Zyrax. His exact cultivation method, world-resource intake, reserves, and progress after the bout are not explained. Dragon Aura, scales, and body combat

Zyrax releases Dragon Aura without a spoken technique, letting it spread like flames and press outward over the training field. The pressure shakes stones, deepens cracks, and contests Drakar's denser aura; during the intensified clash, their combined auras are described as capable of crushing beings below the Primordial level. Zyrax can also burst the aura from his palms as a direct pressure attack. No mana cost, maximum solo range, duration, resistance threshold, or non-Dragon counter is supplied, and the largest stated crushing effect belongs to the combined clash rather than Zyrax alone. Crimson scales appear over Zyrax's arms, torso, hands, and face as the fight escalates. He thickens them at impact points to absorb blows, but Drakar can break them, establishing that the defense is strong rather than absolute. Zyrax uses no weapon: he treats his fists, legs, elbows, shoulders, and head as weapons, combines blocks with close-range counters, and willingly takes damage to remain inside striking distance. His body eventually becomes exhausted and Oraya judges that rest will produce more growth than continuing. Growth through battle

Zyrax deliberately seeks opponents who will force adaptation. During the Drakar fight, both children become stronger in real time, and Zyrax explicitly wants his older brother to surpass his limits so that the stronger challenge will make him grow as well. This is a demonstrated pattern of battle-driven improvement, but the source does not identify a separate Law, activation condition beyond fighting, permanent numerical gain, ceiling, or cooldown.
