Blast Bombs
Blast Bombs are red explosive spheres produced through the Bombardier Gorilla's skill. Eiko and Glee turn the basic impact-or-remote-detonated projectile into a shared slime arsenal used from small ambushes to world-scale bombardment.
History
Spreading “boom boom”
Glee hunts Bombardier Gorillas for Beast Cores that teach their sole skill, and Eiko shares the cores with Cai and other slimes. Eiko and Glee can manufacture bombs rapidly enough to build a town-destroying stockpile in about an hour, and the red spheres may explode on impact or wait for remote detonation. The skill's distribution changes otherwise weak baby slimes into a coordinated explosive force. (Chapters 434, 752)
Escalation into siege warfare
The bombs are adapted into mines, missiles, cannon ammunition, and increasingly destructive payloads. Eiko's forces use them in attacks against fortified and high-ranked enemies, while Lux incorporates their delivery into larger operations. Their power depends heavily on quantity and delivery: massed stores can threaten towns or armies, but the bombs remain consumable projectiles that must be created, positioned, launched, or detonated. Abilities and properties
- Explode on impact or by remote detonation, permitting direct attacks and planted ambushes. (Chapter 434)
- Are generated through a learned skill rather than forged as permanent reusable artifacts. (Chapters 434, 752)
- Scale through stockpiling and engineered delivery systems; larger concentrations produce correspondingly catastrophic blasts. (Chapters 752, 1094–1102)
- Creation time, available users, ammunition stocks, range, and safe delivery remain operational limits. (Chapters 752, 906)
