Glee

Glee is a pink-haired Elf Ranker from Bentley’s Game-Shin Impact Merchant Guild. Although she looks like a little girl in red-riding-hood clothes, she is an experienced demolitions specialist whose friendship with Eiko helps make Blast Bombs central to Heaven’s Gate’s defenses and the final war.

Biography

Heaven’s Gate and the continental wars

Glee arrives with Bentley’s construction team to remodel the mountain that becomes Heaven’s Gate’s headquarters, cheerfully interpreting “fixing” as blasting away its peak. Because destruction is her specialty, Kenneth and Bentley keep her away from ordinary construction after the initial demolition. She befriends Eiko through their shared delight in explosions, gives her Bombardier Gorilla Beast Cores, and leaves a lasting influence: Eiko uses those cores and Glee’s example to develop explosive undead and a broader bomb-making hobby. The goodbye between them is emotional, showing that their partnership is personal as well as technically productive. (Chapters 428–430, 434, 446–447, 515)

The rescue from the Abyss and the final war

During the final war, Glee’s modified Blast Bombs serve as ammunition for Edea’s Giga Cannons, while she works with Leaf Town’s baby Slimes to condense heat-seeking, nuclear-level versions. From a special Dwarven cannon she deliberately fires toward the rear of the Abyssal formation to spare allies, then reveals an Abyssal-Lord-seeking bomb that curves around Daniel’s barrier and grievously injures its target. She continues fighting beside Bentley, and the enormous bomb she, Eiko, and the Slimes prepared becomes one of Lux’s weapons against Daniel. Her private enthusiasm has matured into coordinated strategic firepower whose collateral danger demands careful aiming and specialized delivery. (Chapters 1169, 1202, 1205, 1210, 1219)

Appearance and personality

Glee is an Elf who appears to be a little girl, with pink hair and a red-riding-hood outfit. Her youthful appearance leads Lux to mistake her for a child laborer, but she is actually a Ranker. She is exuberant, affectionate, and almost single-mindedly fascinated by explosions; soot, dangerous munitions, and battlefield pressure do little to dampen her cheer. That enthusiasm is not wholly reckless, however, because she aims major blasts away from allies and works within Bentley’s command structure. (Chapters 428, 430, 1202, 1205)

Abilities and skills

Glee creates, modifies, and condenses Blast Bombs: red metallic spheres that explode on impact or can be detonated remotely. She can turn accumulated bombs into heat-seeking, nuclear-level ordnance, build variants that track Abyssal Lords, and adapt less powerful versions as artillery shells. Their strength is also their principal limit—city-destroying yields threaten allies and terrain, so she needs controlled trajectories, safe target placement, or a special cannon for long-range use. Her largest products are collaborative rather than solo creations, relying on Eiko and many baby Slimes for production, while early construction scenes show Bentley and Kenneth supervising her because demolition skill does not translate into careful building.
