Vallaki Meitar

Vallaki Meitar, called Vall in his early appearances and Val in later chapters, is the Azov Kingdom’s leading youth and the guildmaster of Silent Forest. The blue-haired therianthrope begins as one of Lux’s proud tournament rivals, then becomes a dependable dungeon ally whose razor-fine spider threads control entire battlefields.

Biography

The Lionheart Tournament and the Hidden Domain

Vallaki enters the Lionheart Tournament as one of the Five Overlords, confident enough to groom himself while Lux waits for their match. Defeat turns that rivalry into wary cooperation inside the Hidden Domain, where he leads Silent Forest, evaluates the undead terrain with Einar, and commits his spider form to the group’s decisive charges. He accepts Lux as temporary leader after the Gate of Death proves the Half-Elf’s judgment, yet refuses to obey Xander merely because of an appointment. His pride complicates command, but it does not prevent him from risking exhaustion for a shared objective. (Chapters 246–248, 279, 285–296, 312, 316, 326)

The Dragon kingdoms and the Abyss

Later chapters call him Val and show the alliance becoming durable. His standing in Azov helps drive the kingdom toward formal cooperation with Barbatos Academy, while he personally joins Lux’s Gate of Famine coalition despite initial doubts about the Dreadnaught threat. Because his spider body cannot fly, he accepts a Deimos-Ranked Alpha Wyvern and uses that mobility during the aerial defense. He parts from Lux as a steadfast Sacred Dungeon companion and predicts that he will become a Ranker within a month, but the supplied corpus never confirms that anticipated advancement. Appearance and personality

Vallaki is a fairly handsome young man with blue hair and a conspicuous concern for grooming. In battle he becomes an approximately three-meter golden spider, producing the “Spider Boy” epithet used by his peers. Narcissism and pride initially make him reluctant to accept another leader, but he is observant, tactically serious, and capable of sustained cooperation once competence is proven. Elegant Golden Jumping Spider transformation

Vallaki transforms into a Rank 4 Alpha Elegant Golden Jumping Spider, gaining the body needed for exceptional leaps, close combat, web production, and faster recovery from injury. The change has meaningful endurance costs: after extended combat he needs rest, and later dungeon conditions leave him unable to transform again immediately. The spider body also cannot fly, a limitation he eventually offsets by accepting a Wyvern mount from Lux rather than gaining aerial movement through the transformation itself. String control and Slaughter Domain

His mana-hidden threads can extend for miles, cut or bind targets, manipulate trapped bodies, hijack summoned creatures, and form String Armor prepared before battle. Slaughter Domain spreads them into a webbed dome that opponents below Initiate Rank struggle to break, letting him control routes and punish movement. These techniques consume mana and benefit from setup; powerful enemies can resist, escape, or force exhausting direct exchanges, so the domain is a battlefield advantage rather than an automatic victory.
