Robin

Robin is a prince of Gweliven and the Ranger of Colette’s Golden Slayers party. Initially suspicious of Lux, he becomes a trusted intermediary in royal and guild affairs, a protective older brother to Anastasia, and a precise supporting marksman.

Biography

Awakening and Leaf Village

Robin joins Colette’s party after completing a Job Class Promotion quest and greets Lux with visible distrust. His Beast Empathy immediately helps the group navigate Figaro Garden, but an escort mission ends with his capture by Kobolds and a costly rescue led by Nevreal and Boreas with Lux’s guidance. The losses show the political value attached to the young prince, while Lux’s insistence that the rescuers also save the other children prevents Robin’s priority from abandoning the rest of the party. As he matures, Robin travels discreetly with Nevreal to seek Lux’s help against Twilight Rain and later joins operations connected to his sister’s kidnapping. He accepts staying out of a Ranker-level assault when Lux judges the inn safer, but refuses to return to the palace before learning the result. His caution is therefore not passivity: it reflects an accurate sense of rank disparity combined with a prince’s responsibility toward Anastasia and the kingdom. (Chapters 369–371, 720–734)

Abyssal invasion and broken memories

During the period when memories of Lux are fractured, Robin helps Anastasia prepare an audacious marriage ambush intended to secure her future with the Half-Elf. He lets her practice jumping onto him until his fingers are covered in ink from the wasted contracts. The comic role still reveals his defining loyalty: even when he is not the architect of her decision, he supports his sister’s chosen happiness with patience and practical assistance. (Chapter 1043)

Appearance and personality

Robin is introduced as a young Dwarf with short dark-brown hair and hazel eyes. His early frown and refusal to socialize make him appear aloof, but later chapters reveal a restrained, observant temperament rather than simple hostility. He asks practical questions about threats, recognizes when stronger people should handle an operation, and remains intensely protective of Anastasia. His willingness to become her practice target also shows a gentler family loyalty beneath his princely reserve. (Chapters 40, 720–729, 1043)

Ranger abilities and skills

Beast Empathy and field awareness

Robin is the only Ranger in his early party shown with Beast Empathy, which allows him to understand monster language on a basic level. He uses it to translate an ant’s warning about nearby Dwarves and dangerous mosquito concentrations, providing reconnaissance the party could not otherwise obtain. The ability is explicitly basic rather than full control or universal speech, and it does not compel monsters to cooperate. (Chapter 40)

Archery and Power Shot

Robin is an expert marksman who supports a coordinated party from range. After Colette knocks a Gutspawn off balance, he activates Power Shot and sends an arrow along a green trail directly into its forehead for the kill. His accuracy and timing are reliable against dungeon monsters, but he does not pretend they bridge the gap to High-Rankers; during the Whitebridge operation, he appropriately remains behind while stronger combatants engage Twilight Rain. • Princess Anastasia: Robin is her older brother and protector. Her kidnapping shapes his caution around Twilight Rain, and he later helps execute her marriage plan. (Chapters 720–734, 1043)
