Lilia

Lilia is Bedivere's human wife and Heidi's mother. Initially ill and living in poverty outside Brookwest Town, she reunites with her transformed husband, moves to Leaf Village, and builds a civilian role in Heaven's Gate through medicine, baking, and community life.

Biography

The Lionheart Tournament and the Hidden Domain

Lilia first appears recovering from fever while Heidi gathers herbs to buy medicine. She thanks Lux for bringing her daughter home and initially refuses his money because the family already owes him for food and treatment. Her poverty and illness limit her ability to protect Heidi, but her concern is constant, and she accepts help only when Lux frames it around the child's needs (Chapters 330–332).

Two years without letters have led Lilia to fear that Bedivere is dead, though she remains in their remote hut because she has nowhere safer to go. When Lux returns with Bedivere in a temporary human appearance, she recognizes her husband immediately and follows his warning to pack without delay. Their reunion survives the later revelation of his transformed existence and leads the family toward a new home (Chapters 331, 349–355).

Lilia corrects Heidi's first awkward description of Dwarves and diplomatically wins over Leaf Village's residents. Cedwyn arranges a house, Lux gives Bedivere leave to spend time with his family, and Lilia joins Heaven's Gate. Her background in making medicines supports the planned Alchemy Shop, while she and Heidi later take over the Candy Shop and produce baked goods and candied fruit for the guild (Chapters 356–361, 416, 432–434, 714).

Abyssal invasion and broken memories

During the attack on Leaf Town, Lilia and Heidi watch cracks spread across the settlement's barrier while Bedivere and stronger defenders fight outside. Neither has the rank to stop Empyrean and Dreadnaught monsters, so their safety depends on the barrier and the combatants stationed around town. The scene places Lilia among the civilian lives that Heaven's Gate's armies are protecting, not among the front-line warriors (Chapter 1113).

Appearance and personality

Lilia is a human woman described as pretty by the Dwarves' reception and visibly weakened by fever at her introduction. She is grateful, cautious, modest about accepting charity, devoted to her family, and socially quick enough to repair Heidi's accidental offense in Leaf Village. Her tenderness toward Bedivere and Heidi coexists with practical decisiveness when the family must leave danger immediately (Chapters 330, 332, 350, 356).

Medicinal and domestic abilities

Lilia has prior experience making medicines and is considered useful to the proposed guild Alchemy Shop alongside more formally trained alchemists. She also teaches Heidi baking and confectionery, runs the Candy Shop, and produces candied fruit praised by Lux. These are skilled civilian crafts that support guild health, morale, and income, but the corpus does not identify Lilia as a master combat alchemist (Chapters 416, 714).

Heaven's Gate membership provides her with a status upgrade and telepathic guild chat, yet no named spell, weapon technique, or battlefield rank is recorded.
