King Azza

King Azza is the Dragon King of Karshvar Draconis, husband of Queen Saphira, and father of Valerie. A stern ruler and protective father, he sets aside sacred taboos and personal resentment when the Abyss threatens his people, then becomes one of the alliance’s strongest frontline commanders.

Biography

Abyssal invasion and broken memories

Azza answers the invasion by drawing every floating island of his kingdom toward Rex Lapis and calling all Dragons and Dragon Borns into one defense. He also honors a predecessor’s dying command by surrendering access to the sacred Dragon Graveyard to Memento Mori, though he demands that the dead be raised only as a last resort. The choice violates his own instincts but serves the greater good. When the portals open, he personally burns the first waves with Dragon Breath and orders his people to attack as one. (Chapters 1095, 1099)

The gods’ erasure of Lux from memory turns Valerie’s pregnancy into a royal crisis. Azza initially threatens the absent father, but he listens when Aurelia and Ari confirm that Valerie chose Lux and when Keoza reveals the battle that saved Elysium. Seeing Daniel’s power and Lux’s sacrifice forces him to reassess personal anger against the survival debt his kingdom owes. He does not become indulgent, but his resistance changes from intended murder to a demand for responsibility and preparation for the renewed war. (Chapters 1151–1153)

Open Heaven’s Gate

Azza leads alliance vanguards, accepts Lux’s temporary guild invitation for its combat buffs, and orders every Dragon under him to do the same. In Dragon Form he and Keoza reach peak Demigod strength, combine Lightning and Crystal Breaths, and attack Nyarlathotep and Daniel beside Lux and Hereswith. Daniel eventually pierces Azza’s chest and crushes his heart, killing him before he can react. Afterward, Azza invites Lux fishing and accepts being addressed as Father. Their deliberately restrained conversation about Valerie’s future children replaces the lethal confrontation Azza once imagined, and he helps choose the wedding timetable. Appearance and personality

In humanoid form Azza is presented as a controlled monarch who stands with hands clasped behind his back and keeps an unreadable or cold expression. His true form is a gigantic Golden Dragon. The text emphasizes posture and pressure more than hair or eye color. He is proud, strength-oriented, protective of sacred Dragon customs, and quick to anger over Valerie, yet he can subordinate emotion to inherited duty, military necessity, and evidence supplied by Keoza. As a Supreme, Azza can project his voice across all of Karshvar Draconis and expend enough power to merge its floating islands into a defensive formation. In Golden Dragon form his displayed rank reaches peak Demigod; he flies, unleashes a Lightning Breath, calls down large meteors with Keoza, and helps deliver combined attacks against a Pseudo-God.
