Demon Monarch’s Jewelry Set

History

Jinwoo Sung assembles the set during separate stages of the Demon’s Castle. Vulcan drops the Demon Monarch’s Earrings. Metus, Guide of Souls, drops the Demon Monarch’s Necklace. Balan’s defeat finally supplies the Demon Monarch’s Ring.

Jinwoo equips each component as it becomes available. The System conceals the set effects until the matching pieces are worn together, so the first accessory is useful on its own, the second reveals part of the bonus, and the ring completes the set. The full set remains among Jinwoo’s equipped S-rank items during his later campaign in Japan.

Properties and use

The set contains three S-rank accessories:

• The earrings increase strength and stamina.
• The necklace increases agility and intelligence.
• The ring increases agility and intelligence.

Each listed increase is twenty points per affected statistic. Equipping the necklace with the earrings reveals a bonus of five points to every statistic. Completing the set reveals a second bonus of ten points to every statistic. Like other System equipment, the accessories disappear from ordinary view when equipped while their effects remain active.

The necklace is visibly made from small animal skulls, a design Jinwoo considers distasteful. Its appearance does not reduce the value of the combined statistical gains, particularly the intelligence increase that supports his growing mana needs.

The set is associated with the Demon Monarch’s Sword and Demon Monarch’s Daggers through their common origin, but its components function as passive accessories rather than weapons.
