Seamstress

The Seamstress, personally named Wendy Wang, is Skyfire Avenue’s custom tailor, a councilor, and the God-ranked pilot known as Windbreaker. An early translation note uses Tailor for the same Avenue title. Her gentle shopkeeper persona conceals an elite combat identity, just as Windbreaker’s broad simulated body conceals that the pilot is a woman. She loves the Gourmet through his years of grief and becomes his wife after his Paragon breakthrough allows him to accept a future with her.

Biography

A tailor behind the Windbreaker mask

Wendy’s shop earns wide praise and supplies suits to Avenue figures such as Lan Jue and the Driver. In DreamNet she removes Windbreaker’s mask and reveals that the famously robust male-looking pilot is the Seamstress. The Clairvoyant entrusts her generation of God-ranked pilots with continuing the Star Alliance. At the Great Adept Tournament she advances through elite competition but forfeits against Constantine rather than spend herself in a hopeless mismatch, demonstrating judgment rather than cowardice. The Gourmet finally chooses the living

Wendy has loved Gourmet for years while he remains trapped in depression and the memory of an earlier relationship. After reaching Paragon, he recognizes that his painful past has kept him from the person actually beside him and confesses that she, not power, makes him happy. Wendy accepts him, stays awake through the celebration because she fears waking to discover it was a dream, and is thereafter described first as his lover and later explicitly as his wife. Skill redirected toward collective defense

The Seamstress helps judge and organize Star Division rather than requalify through its ordinary trials, because her piloting record is already known. She returns Northern equipment to Skyfire before the Conclave can trap the delegation, supports defensive preparations on Tempest, and considers closing her shop to train full-time as the alien threat grows. Appearance and personality

Wendy is slender and curvaceous, with a smiling, gently feminine presentation that contrasts with Windbreaker’s artificially large DreamNet body. She is patient, affectionate, practical, and quietly brave. Wendy waits for Gourmet without forcing him to answer grief on her schedule, but accepts his commitment when it becomes genuine.
