Furious Pineapple

The Furious Pineapple is a rare disposable control and disguise tool taken from the Lucky Cat. Pineapple Grenade stuns targets without damaging them, while Boroboromi turns the user into an undetectable pineapple disguise.

Treasure taken from the Lucky Cat

Ling Chen catches five Furious Pineapples thrown by the Lucky Cat and appraises their two uses. Pineapple Grenade creates a wide stunning blast, while Boroboromi transforms the holder into a pineapple whose true identity and form cannot be detected. He begins carrying them as emergency tools, including holding one ready before entering the Eerie Castle. (Chapters 146, 155)

Forcing a path through the Fairy Realm

During the confrontation at the Fairy Fountain, Ling Chen uses Pineapple Grenade against the pursuing Fairies. The explosion stuns them despite their strong resistance to abnormal statuses, giving the tool a reliable crowd-control role even against unusually resistant targets. He throws another as the pursuit continues, consuming each pineapple at the moment of detonation. (Chapter 257)

Escapes in the East Ocean Continent

Ling Chen later invokes Boroboromi to hide beside the Evil Black Dragon, remaining disguised until the pineapple disappears after ten minutes. The narration then states that two of his original five remain. When eight Light Mages seal his active skills, he prepares to throw another Furious Pineapple but does not expend it because Leng’Er attacks first. These scenes preserve the item’s niche as a finite escape resource while establishing that at least one remains unused. (Chapters 419, 465)

Abilities and properties

• Pineapple Grenade: On impact, it explodes without causing damage and has a stated certainty of stunning everything within fifty metres for at least five seconds. The pineapple disappears after the explosion. (Chapter 146)
• Boroboromi: A holder who silently chants the command transforms into a large pineapple for ten minutes. No creature of any level or grade can identify the user’s true identity or form, and the pineapple disappears when the effect ends. (Chapters 146, 419)
• Interruptible detonation: Catching a thrown Furious Pineapple before it reaches the ground prevents Pineapple Grenade from exploding, which is how Ling Chen obtains all five examples. (Chapter 146)
• Control against resistance: Its stun affects the Fairies even though they resist most abnormal conditions, demonstrating exceptional reliability in that encounter. The corpus does not establish whether beings immune to stun or vastly stronger divine entities would also be affected. (Chapter 257)
