Biography

The Road South and the Fairy Realm

Xiao Feng Chen meets Ling Chen after escaping the Lunar Sky Hell and desperately tries to recruit him into the nearly extinct Feng Chen Sect. He promises access to its curses, abandons dignity while pleading, and celebrates wildly when the sect finally gains a successor. Ling Chen refuses to surrender his existing profession, so the inheritance is arranged without erasing the path he already follows. (Chapters 263–265)

Calamity in the East Ocean Continent

Ling Chen’s use of Feng Chen Curses abroad demonstrates the dangerous tradition Xiao Feng Chen transmitted. Reports that Xiao once cursed the three Moon Goddesses establish exceptional mental power, while his speed lets him reappear before Ling Chen almost instantly. Forbidden techniques that Xiao did not initially explain show that the inheritance contains deeper layers than the basic curses taught at recruitment. (Chapters 411–425, 440, 479)

The Defense and Founding of Ling Tian City

At the later profession threshold, Ling Chen formally becomes Feng Chen Sect Leader and gains access to Heart End Cliff. Xiao Feng Chen’s succession goal is therefore achieved even though he is not a city defender. References to his extraordinary longevity and speed place him beyond ordinary humans, but the phase provides no evidence that he personally fights in the siege or governs Ling Tian City. The Underworld and the Forgotten City

The Undead War God remembers Xiao Feng Chen as a friend and recognizes Ling Chen as the sect’s successor, confirming that Xiao’s relationships predate his imprisonment. Ling Chen later unlocks the Soulkilling Curse that Xiao had described. These developments extend Xiao’s legacy through his student rather than giving the retired master a new Underworld campaign of his own. (Chapters 652–653, 658)

The Moon God Palace and the Shura’s Return

Xiao Feng Chen spends this phase enjoying freedom from the search for a successor and wondering whether Ling Chen has completed the leadership upgrade. The Moon Goddesses still assume his escape from Lunar Sky Hell impossible, while Ling Chen uses the sect’s supreme concealment skill against their institutions. Xiao remains alive and influential through his teachings, not through direct participation in the palace raid. (Chapters 721, 735–736, 742–745)

Appearance and personality

Xiao Feng Chen is an eccentric older man whose extreme speed and ancient experience contrast with childish excitement, shameless pleading, and comic vanity. He is proud of the Feng Chen Sect but willing to discard decorum to preserve it. Relief after finding Ling Chen turns his anxious search into a relaxed retirement. (Chapters 263–265, 479, 735)

Abilities and powers

Xiao Feng Chen possesses immense mental energy, exceptional movement speed, concealment arts, and mastery of Feng Chen Curses capable of imposing bizarre mental and behavioral effects. Historical reports say even Moon Goddesses were affected, but the corpus does not supply his complete skill list, current statistics, or proof that every forbidden curse works on any target without resistance. Relationships
