Biography

Heart’s Dream and the First Guild

Flame Shadow is introduced as a high-ranking member of Long Tian Yun’s entourage, responsible for passing orders and handling external affairs. He proposes capturing Peter Pan and forcing the offensive guild to disband, reports Ling Chen’s rapid advancement and equipment gains, and explains troop movements when Long Tian Yun’s subordinates charge without authorization. His role is managerial rather than front-line. (Chapters 193, 201, 205–213, 220)

The Road South and the Fairy Realm

Flame Shadow celebrates when Dark Night delivers Peter Pan and attempts to coax the captive into identifying whoever arranged the humiliation, pairing promises of protection with the threat already used to find his real identity. The effort fails to give Long Tian Yun the answer he wants, and Skyfall Dynasty is blamed instead, worsening a rivalry that Flame Shadow can only observe and administer. Calamity in the East Ocean Continent

Watching Ling destroy Unsetting Sun’s headquarters, Flame Shadow tries to reassure his shaken master that the feat must depend on a scarce item and could not work against Yan Huang’s stronger defenses. When further destruction disproves that comfort, he supports Long Tian Yun physically and receives frantic orders to pressure the game company and allied guilds with complaints. (Chapters 457–458)

The Defense and Founding of Ling Tian City

During Yan Huang’s assault, Flame Shadow tracks casualties, attributes panic to the Sword Emperor’s appearance, and relays battlefield intelligence. He questions exposing the Cloud Piercing Crossbow before Ling appears but obeys the deployment order and prepares bolts against Xiao Qi. His accurate reports cannot compensate for Long Tian Yun’s escalating decisions or the defenders’ unexpected powers. (Chapters 559, 562–563, 565, 569–570, 574–575, 578, 593, 619)

The Moon God Palace and the Shura’s Return

Flame Shadow withdraws with Cang Yan when Long Tian Yun orders privacy for his meeting with Ling. After Ling uses the Soulkilling Curse and departs, Flame Shadow returns on command and is told to assemble the alliance’s senior officers. He continues executing orders without knowing that his master’s loyalties and judgment have been supernaturally rewritten. (Chapters 722–723)

Appearance and personality

Flame Shadow is a black-clothed man characterized by quick reporting, caution, and loyalty to Long Tian Yun. He offers reassurance even when frightened and usually frames bad news in terms his master can act upon. His advice is practical but subordinate; when Long Tian Yun decides otherwise, Flame Shadow complies. (Chapters 193, 201, 457–458, 559–563)

Abilities and powers

No personal combat class, named technique, or supernatural ability is established for Flame Shadow. His competencies are intelligence gathering, order transmission, casualty accounting, negotiation, and large-guild battlefield coordination. He can arrange specialist weapons and troops, but the Cloud Piercing Crossbow belongs to the alliance’s arsenal rather than representing an innate power. (Chapters 193, 201, 235–236, 559–563)

Relationships

• Long Tian Yun is Flame Shadow’s master and commanding officer; Flame Shadow reports to him, advises him, and carries out his external and military orders. (Chapters 193–237, 457–458, 559–575, 722–723)
• Ling Chen is the threat Flame Shadow monitors but cannot personally counter. Ling’s feats repeatedly invalidate his strategic reassurances. (Chapters 201–213, 457–458, 559–575)
• Cang Yan is a fellow senior subordinate who joins Flame Shadow outside Long Tian Yun’s private meeting and returns with him afterward. (Chapters 205–213, 722–723)

Items

Flame Shadow oversees deployment of the Yan Huang Alliance’s Cloud Piercing Crossbow and its bolts during the siege, but he neither owns nor personally wields the engine. No signature item is assigned to him in the article ledger. (Chapters 562–563)
