Biography

A succession dispute becomes a coup

Because Theia shares Uranus's heavenly domain, she regards herself as a natural successor and refuses to accept Oceanus's favored position. Her resentment hardens into domination of her siblings and then an organized coup, forcing the Titans into civil war. The conflict ends when Rhea and forces supporting Uranus bring Kronos back into the struggle; faced with the reversed balance of power, Theia surrenders rather than continue a battle she can no longer control. Another revolt ends in execution

Surrender does not erase Theia's hostility or the larger Titan grievance. When renewed upheaval draws the old generation into conflict again, she stands among the hostile powers confronting the restored order. Persephone answers the threat directly and beheads Theia, ending a life repeatedly shaped by the attempt to seize a succession that Uranus had not granted her. (Chapters 567–581, especially Chapter 573)

Appearance and personality

The scoped narrative does not supply a stable detailed physical description for Theia. Her personality is much clearer: she is imperious, proud of sharing Uranus's domain, and abusive toward siblings she considers obstacles.
