Uranus

Uranus is the Father of Heavens, the primordial ruler who gathered the early Olympians into a single society. His vast authority over the sky, space, and time made Olympus possible, but his most consequential choice was personal: he sacrificed part of that authority to protect Kronos from the Demonism, ensuring that the son he often scolded could survive to inherit his age.

Biography

Founding a turbulent Olympus

Uranus awakened near the beginning of the world and established Olympus by unifying proud, competitive gods who might otherwise have destroyed one another. He deliberately directed their rivalry outward and maintained a hierarchy strong enough to prevent civil war, even while his own household remained volatile. Kronos remembered a hot-tempered father who threw furniture and holy power during arguments, yet Uranus' harsh lessons repeatedly returned to the need for siblings to trust one another against threats larger than their quarrels. Protecting Kronos from the Demonism

When Mother Earth's influence suppressed Olympian holy power and the Demonism threatened Kronos from within, Uranus gave his son the power needed to contain it. Because Uranus' sky encompassed space, its union with darkness produced the authority of time that Kronos later inherited. The transfer saved Kronos but deprived Uranus of power he could not simply reclaim; Gaia's curse later caused his death, turning a difficult father's sacrifice into the foundation of his son's survival and future divinity. Returning through an ancient memory

In the remembered war between Day and Night, Uranus fought beside Metatron and Baal, burning otherworldly gods with bolts and tearing at them through spatial force. He protected Yeon-woo as his grandson and joined the other old leaders in holding the battlefield until the Heavenly Demon arrived. The comparison exposed Uranus' limit as clearly as his strength: even the Father of Heavens feared the being capable of ending a struggle that the exhausted stewards of Day could only prolong. Appearance and personality

Uranus appears as a vigorous middle-aged man with a white beard and the commanding presence of a patriarch. In his temple, stars, nebulae, and planets can shift around his gestures as though the heavens were part of the room. His later memories preserve a ruler whose age did not make him frail, only more imposing. (Chapter 561)

He is hot-blooded, competitive, and severe with Kronos, but the anger conceals genuine concern for his family and society. Uranus values strength because the early gods lived among overwhelming enemies, yet he also understands that strength without solidarity would destroy Olympus from within. His protective response to Yeon-woo and his sacrifice for Kronos show that affection is most often expressed through action rather than gentleness. (Chapters 561–565, 664–665, 846)

Abilities and powers

Authority over heavens, time, and space

Uranus can manipulate the heavens on an immense scale, detaching stars and forming nebulae or planets with a gesture. As Father of Heavens, he rules space, and the interaction between that power and darkness produces time authority. Kronos receives this legacy rather than independently originating it, which is why Uranus remains the root of the family's time-and-space powers even after his death. (Chapters 561, 565, 659)

Celestial combat

In battle Uranus releases lightning-like holy power and spatial attacks capable of burning or tearing apart otherworldly gods. He can coordinate those attacks with Metatron's light and Baal's demonic force without their conflicting societies preventing cooperation. His reach is not absolute, however: Mother Earth's swamp suppresses Olympian holy power, her curse kills him, and Night's greatest beings require the Heavenly Demon rather than Uranus alone. Inherited rather than recoverable power

Uranus' authority can be transferred, but doing so carries a lasting cost. The power he gives Kronos to suppress the Demonism remains with his son and cannot be casually summoned back after Uranus' death. Later manifestations of time and space therefore represent an inherited divine lineage or preserved memory, not evidence that Uranus continues to act independently in the present. Relationships

• Kronos: Kronos is Uranus' son and eventual successor. Their arguments are fierce, but Uranus gives him the time-and-space authority that suppresses the Demonism and preserves his life.
• Rhea: Rhea is part of the family Uranus struggles to hold together and later helps draw Kronos into Olympus' succession crisis.
• Mother Earth: Mother Earth is both an ancient threat to Olympus and the source of the curse that kills Uranus. Her power exposes the limits of his heavenly authority.
• Heavenly Demon: Uranus fights on Day's side but recognizes the Heavenly Demon as a far greater decisive force in the war against Night.
• Metatron: Metatron is Uranus' old comrade. They cooperate across society boundaries to protect Day's order against the otherworld gods.
