The Sage Lion King is the red-haired Mountain Moving Sage among the Seven Demon Kings. As one of Pandemonium's few but exceptionally powerful rulers, he helps defend its interests and later joins an attempt to restrain the Monkey King.

Biography

A sage overpowered by a former brother

Yeon-woo first recalls the Sage Lion King as a Pandemonium opponent difficult enough to prove that the Seven Demon Kings are not ordinary enemies. After the Tower's collapse, the demon kings rarely leave their secluded magic region, but the Lion King descends beside the Flood Demon King when Sun Wukong's actions threaten their plans. The two try to subdue their former companion; Sun Wukong devastates the area and leaves the Lion King unconscious. He later awakens and returns alive, although the failed mission leaves the participating sages subject to their companions' criticism. (Chapters 520, 735, 763–765, 773)

Appearance and personality

The Sage Lion King has red hair and a presence associated with a lion and mountain-moving might. The corpus offers little direct dialogue, but his willingness to descend against Sun Wukong shows confidence in collective Pandemonium strength. After defeat, he remains silent when the Flood Demon King looks to him for support, suggesting little appetite for defending their failure. (Chapters 735, 763–765, 773)

Abilities and powers

The Lion King belongs to the Seven Sages, a group whose tiny membership is offset by strength feared across the heavenly world. His title connects him to mountain-moving power, but the scoped scenes do not explain its mechanics or give a named technique. His descent contributes enough force to devastate the surrounding terrain, yet he and the Flood Demon King cannot contain the fully active Monkey King and are beaten unconscious.
