Biography

A killer becomes a fugitive

Jang Wei's arrows make him one of the Tower's recognized specialists, but his actions also draw personal pursuit: he kills Ananta, leaving Sesha without her mother, and becomes an enemy of Yeon-woo and the One-horned tribe. Injured and hunted, he withdraws rather than meet their retaliation directly. That survival gives him time to align with Faceless and the Sea of Time, which offers a new route toward the revenge connected to his sister. (Chapters 143–246 and 452–489)

Hou Yi descends for the Martial King battle

Jang Wei joins the engineered challenge against the Martial King and serves as the vessel for Hou Yi. Through him, the deity brings the Sun-Shooting Bow's authority into the lower world, firing concentrated arrows and forming a cage of light around the battlefield. Jang Wei's body gives the descent access to the conflict, but the power belongs to the descending god; once the descent collapses, the scoped narrative does not separately confirm Jang Wei's survival or death. Appearance and personality

Jang Wei is presented as a guarded male archer who keeps opponents at distance; during his fugitive period, injuries and concealment obscure a stable detailed portrait. He is patient enough to hide and wait for an opening, but his fixation on revenge makes him willing to join a conspiracy and surrender control of the battle to a descending deity. Abilities and powers

Jang Wei's personal specialty is precision archery at long range, reflected in the title Bow God. As Hou Yi's Apostle, he can act as an incarnation vessel, but the Sun-Shooting Bow, its concentrated light arrows, and the large light cage are manifestations of Hou Yi's descended power rather than proof that Jang Wei freely commands them alone. His injured state and dependence on prepared ambushes show that distance and positioning remain important limits. (Chapters 178–246 and 604–619)
