Dylan

Dylan is one of Heidi's closest companions in Team Trinity, a practical officer whose loyalty survives the dangerous bargains and defections surrounding Yeon-woo's rise.

Biography

A dependable officer follows Heidi's principles

Dylan first supports Yeon-woo's operation by bringing the captive Hanbin under control, then continues working beside Heidi and Jun as they assess Yeon-woo's improbable progress. When higher powers force Team Trinity into the Cannibal Monster Forest, Dylan regards the order as a march toward death but does not abandon the group. He helps Heidi search for survivors, accepting her refusal to imitate clans that discard injured players when rescue becomes inconvenient. (Chapters 125, 177–179, 269–271)

Fear gives way to a durable alliance

On the River of Souls, Dylan initially favors escape when Waltz threatens the ghost ship, since defending Yeon-woo appears suicidal and most allies have already defected. Heidi insists that abandoning him would repeat the betrayal they condemned, and Dylan stays, supporting her while she spends nearly all her magic power on the rescue. Team Trinity survives the crisis and later expands into one of the forces gathering around Yeon-woo, leaving Dylan active and excited beside the leader he chose to follow. (Chapters 274–282, 437)

Appearance and personality

The corpus does not give Dylan a distinctive physical description. He is consistently presented beside Heidi and Jun, moving as an experienced team officer whose expressions shift from fatigue or alarm to open excitement when their long work begins to succeed. (Chapters 177–179, 269–282, 437)

Dylan is cautious, loyal, and willing to argue before committing. He does not share Heidi's certainty in every crisis, but once she defines the moral line Team Trinity will hold, he remains beside her despite the risk. That combination makes his courage a choice made through fear rather than the absence of it. (Chapters 269–282)

Abilities and powers

Veteran team combat

Dylan is a capable player trusted as a senior Team Trinity member, able to operate through the hostile air, mental pressure, and monster threats of the upper twenties. His demonstrated strength is coordinated field work—securing targets, protecting comrades, and helping organize survivors—rather than a named individual power. The local chapters do not establish a signature spell or weapon, so none should be inferred from Heidi's abilities. (Chapters 125, 269–282)

Command support and limits

Dylan helps maintain cohesion and gives Heidi direct warnings about the group's condition. He cannot replace her magic when the ghost ship needs protection and can only encourage her during the final summoning effort. His later status comes from Team Trinity's collective growth, making leadership, judgment, and persistence his sourced contribution rather than unexplained personal advancement. (Chapters 274–282, 437)

Relationships

  • Yeon-woo: Dylan assists Yeon-woo's early operation, later remains on the ghost ship for him, and helps grow a force allied with him. (Chapters 125, 177–179, 274–282, 437)
  • Edora: Dylan operates around Edora during the Cheonghwado crisis and later follows the same broader alliance centered on Yeon-woo. (Chapters 125, 177–179)
  • Phante: Phante is another early ally whose disruptive confidence reinforces Team Trinity's belief that Yeon-woo's group can overturn established powers. (Chapters 125, 177–179)
  • Charon: Dylan's party crosses the River of Souls in a stage where Charon's costly service shapes every group's options. (Chapters 271–276)
