Chemical

Chemical is the strongest prisoner in the Blood-Tear Stone mine and the leader whom the other inmates call their king. After Yeon-woo humiliates him, Chemical uses a larger rebellion as cover for a secret expedition and later submits to the Vampiric Lord.

Biography

A prison king looks for a stronger patron

Chemical dominates the mine's inmates until Yeon-woo defeats his entire group without access to the Tower's normal system, leaving their leader beaten and publicly humiliated. Rather than challenge him directly again, Chemical helps ignite a rebellion that occupies the guards while a small team enters the forbidden route toward the cave's heart. Yeon-woo detects the diversion and captures the conspirators in his shadows. When released before the revived Vampiric Lord, Chemical recognizes the new balance of power, bows, and joins those seeking protection and opportunity under her return. (Chapters 464–470)

Appearance and personality

The corpus gives no stable physical description beyond the black eyes Yeon-woo's beating leaves him. Chemical has an unpredictable gaze, a foul temper after humiliation, and enough authority that prisoners address him as boss. He is proud but pragmatic: once open force fails, he switches to misdirection, and when a sovereign power appears, he bows rather than die for wounded pride. (Chapters 464–465, 470)

Abilities and powers

Chemical is the strongest ordinary prisoner in the cave and commands a loyal group capable of putting serious pressure on the prison guards. No named personal skill or supernatural mechanic is established. His limits are shown clearly: the Martial King has beaten him before, Yeon-woo defeats him with ease, and Mary secretly possesses greater strength. His more effective capability is organization, using pawns and a general disturbance to conceal a smaller objective. (Chapters 464–466)

• Mary: Mary appears to serve Chemical but is stronger than him; they cooperate in the concealed expedition during the rebellion.
