Bild is an Arangdan executive and former Arthia associate who turns the Tutorial's supposed vigilante force into a supply network for Leonte's stone experiment.

Biography

Arangdan's protection conceals a human farm

Bild publicly recruits promising Tutorial players into Arangdan, an organization presented as a fair-minded vigilante group under Cheonghwado. In private, he directs scavengers, captures players as “materials,” and feeds their energy into an unfinished stone for Leonte. When Kahn, Doyle, and Yeon-woo disrupt the operation, fear of punishment drives Bild to accelerate the process and sacrifice even prominent captives rather than abandon years of work. (Chapters 10–46)

An unfinished stone cannot save him

Yeon-woo recognizes Bild as one of the men connected to Jeong-woo's betrayal and invades Arangdan's base. Bild fights with his Tower experience and subordinates, then retreats to the incomplete violet stone when defeat becomes unavoidable. The artifact refuses to empower him, allowing Yeon-woo to capture and interrogate him about Arthia's fall. Bild dies in the fire that destroys the base, and the surviving stone passes to Yeon-woo instead. (Chapters 47–53)

Appearance and personality

Bild is a male player with a dangerous aura who carries two swords crossed on his back. He is proud of the organization he built, quick to interpret resistance as disrespect, and violently ambitious about rising through Cheonghwado. Under defeat, that confidence collapses into panic: he repeatedly swallows the failed stone and blames Yeon-woo without acknowledging the people he exploited. (Chapters 15, 20, and 47–51)

Abilities and powers

Bild is an experienced Tower player and dual-sword fighter whose aura overwhelms weaker Tutorial participants. The gap in combat experience makes him stronger than Kahn in a direct fight, but intervention penalties and Yeon-woo's tactics constrain that advantage. Bild cannot use the violet stone because it is unfinished and riddled with imperfections; swallowing it produces no power, making his entire human-farm project a resource he cannot personally activate. Relationships

• Yeon-woo: Yeon-woo destroys Bild's organization, interrogates him, and leaves him to die in Arangdan's ruins.
• Jeong-woo: Bild is connected to the former Arthia circle that betrayed Jeong-woo.
• Kahn: Bild defeats and imprisons Kahn as material for the stone.
• Doyle: Doyle is captured alongside Kahn and rescued during Yeon-woo's attack.
• Leonte: Bild manages Arangdan and the stone project for Leonte.
