Philosopher's Stone
The Philosopher's Stone begins as an incomplete alchemical device and becomes a second magic organ connected to Yeon-woo's Magic Circuit. It remains the containing vessel even after Cardinal Sin Soulstones reshape part of it into the Sin Stone.
History
Recovery and completion
Yeon-woo learns that Leonte came close to producing the supposedly impossible stone by using knowledge from the Emerald Tablet. He obtains the unfinished device and its process, then takes the materials Red Dragon had stored in Intrenian and studies the missing principles with Brahm's help. (Chapters 139–140, 190–193)
Yeon-woo realizes that the stone does not create energy from nothing; it amplifies a source placed inside it. After stabilizing and combining the energy source and vessel, he connects the completed artifact to his existing Magic Circuit as another Core, turning it into a functioning magical organ. (Chapters 192, 215–216)
A vessel for the Sin Stones
The Stone of Superbia inside Yeon-woo reacts when he absorbs power from the Stone of Gula, creating a quest to combine the two. By Chapter 519, the Philosopher's Stone has consumed both Soulstones and been reborn in part as the Sin Stone. Later absorptions continue to harden and complete the vessel; six Cardinal Sin stones have merged by Chapter 768, while the seventh is still missing. (Chapters 418, 519, 593, 768)
Abilities and properties
- Amplifies circulating magic power exponentially rather than supplying a literally infinite source. (Chapter 192)
- Functions as a magical organ connected to Yeon-woo's Magic Circuit and supports the development of his Demonic Dragon Body. (Chapters 216–217)
- Provides a resting and growth space for spiritual beings such as Nemesis and Nike. (Chapters 168, 172, 192)
- Can contain and integrate compatible Soulstones, while retaining the name Philosopher's Stone as the larger vessel. (Chapters 418, 519, 768)
