The Staff of Stone is an ancient D-Grade weapon that uses the Dao of Density to adjust its weight to its wielder's strength.
History
Found in the Hidden Cave
Jack found the gray, moss-covered staff beside a corpse while searching for the weapon Brock wanted. Carved animal forms covered its length. Jack grabbed it and tossed it to Brock, who caught it while fighting the broodmother. (Chapter 134)
Brock continued using the staff as his weapon, including in later battles. Baron Longform snapped it in two during the fighting in the hidden realm. Brock later confirmed that it had been destroyed and searched for a replacement; Jack eventually gave him the Goldenwood Staff. (Chapters 139–391, 414, 418, 443)
Abilities and properties
- Its ancient enchantment uses the Dao of Density to adjust the staff's weight to match its wielder's strength. Its maximum density is suited to a wielder with up to 1,000 Strength points. (Chapter 135)
- The weapon was carved and enchanted by Bozdom the Crafty. (Chapter 135)
- Baron Longform broke it in two with an overwhelming strike. Brock later described it as destroyed. (Chapters 391, 418)
