Vocrich Eretor

Vocrich Eretor is the Hand of God representative who hosts Earth’s Integration Auction. His decision to let the Animal Kingdom target Jack for political and financial advantage later puts him on the opposite side of Jack’s fight for survival.

Biography

Auction host, political broker, and enemy

Vocrich introduces himself as a vampire lord of Kotsiya and hosts the Integration Auction. He presents rare items and enforces the auction’s rules, including protecting Jack’s purchase of the Rainbow Dao Pill when the bidding is challenged. His authority derives from the Hand of God’s role enforcing the Star Pact, but he does not use it to protect Jack when the planetary overseer threatens him. Instead, he accepts her bargain to abandon the matter, choosing not to oppose the Animal Kingdom’s pressure (Chapters 72–75, 98–101).

Jack later encounters Vocrich among Lady Minerva’s expedition team. Vocrich explains that the deal he made with the Animal Kingdom gave him the capital to join Minerva’s group. Their encounter confirms that his earlier inaction was a deliberate business choice, and Jack regards him as an enemy. During the expedition, Vocrich fights alongside Minerva’s team, using darkness to absorb ice attacks and hold off a stronger fire cultivator. Etsin suddenly appears and cuts off Vocrich’s head, killing him and scattering the pursuers long enough for Jack to escape (Chapters 191, 206–209).

Appearance and personality

Vocrich is a pale vampire with dark hair, usually dressed in a black suit and cape. He can hide his aura and presents himself with charm, but his displayed power is threatening. He is calculating and pragmatic, willing to trade enforcement of the Star Pact for a business advantage (Chapters 72, 75, 191).

Abilities and cultivation

Vocrich is a peak E-Grade cultivator. His darkness can devour ice vines and form tendrils that clash with fire; although he cannot overpower Priya, he can delay her. His shadow-based defense is vulnerable to opposing powers, as Kareena’s silver light extinguishes his darkness and lets the ice vines wound him. He is eventually killed before he can respond to Etsin’s sudden attack (Chapters 191, 206, 209).
